I just got my first invitation in the mail for Fashion Week SS11 which is less than 2 weeks away! Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I'm getting rsvps for my "Turning 2" party this Thursday. Now if I can only finish enough of my work so I don't miss the Michael Jackson party in Prospect Park, this will be a dreamy day.

Next Thursday on September 2nd The Creative Cookie celebrates 2 years and it has been a terrific journey. Thanks to you, I have been able to crawl out of my shyness and stumble into places I only dreamed of being. I am so looking forward to my sweet sixteen!

Growing up is fun but it’s also hard work. I need your help to keep walking forward. the iconic issue of Ouch!

The September 2010 "iconic issue" of Ouch! magazine will feature Shontelle, R&B singer & songwriter from Barbados, on its cover for its 10th issue in print. Ouch!'s latest installment will include a flavorful interview with Shontelle about her music and the release of her sophomore album, No Gravity. Limited edition copies will be sold online at ouchmagazine.com and The Magazine Cafe, in Manhattan, early September. I'm looking forward to reading more about this Bajan songstress!
