My interest in handmade art fairs goes deeper than my frugality--I'm always inspired by the randomness, resourcefulness, and savvy nature of the crafter. The holiday markets in Chicago were exceptional--checked out two of them during my recient jaunt and fell in lurrrve! From knitted collars to funky jewelry to colorful glass pieces there was so much to admire, if you have an appreciation for handmade things! I wish I would have taken more photos but I was too busy chatting with makers -- it's a fab feeling to have your money go directly to the people who make the item.
