Show us how you look #Sewfab! We’re partnering with our friends at Kiki Magazine for a Sassy Spectacles Contest and all you have to do is design your very own pair of sunglasses or eyeglasses to win. Do something unique to who you are and make sure to draw inspiration from your style tribe (wink, wink)! A 'Sew Fab' HeidiOptics Signing

Last Friday we had a Sew Fab event in Pittsburgh, PA at HeidiOptics. It was warm and lots of fun! I'm thankful so many people came out -- we sold all of our books again! Before moving to New York I lived in Pittsburgh for a few years. HeidiOptics is actually the shop that I purchased my signature frames, by Frost, from. They eventually became Creative Cookie's logo!

A huge thank you to Heidi + her team for hosting us -- total gems!

A Sweet 'Daily Candy' Feature

I was on the bus and nearly fell out of my seat when my good friend, Josephine, who lives in California forwarded an email asking "is this you?". I quickly clicked into my inbox to open the latest from Daily Candy and in fact it was! A little back story,  11 years ago, Josephine and I were interns and we would read the daily email newsletter from our shared cubical. We are obviously lifelong fans!

That said, I'm flattered to be featured among so many street style stars for this year's Street Style Awards! Please take a moment to VOTE for NYC to win!
