Last week a friend and fellow style blogger, Sammy Davis, came to my High School fashion design class to give a lesson on vintage fashion. Lucky them and lucky me. After she left I decided to dig into her new e-book The 100 Best Vintage Shops Online! It's been like taking a course in vintage fashion. Here's the link -- you should check it out for yourself!

After what seemed like an off New York Fashion Week for me I was pleased to sumble across this photo on Huff Post Style! The Creative Cookie launched a crafty collaboration with the Queens Library last September. Since, we've presented 20+ workshops to some cool kids in the County of Queens. Our 1st sessions of 2013 start this week (yippee!). If you know a teen in Queens, email me, we'd love to invite them to come backstitch with us!
